Cindi Luke

Nov 19, 1963 — Sep 1, 2026

Auburn Hills, MI

Cindi Luke, age 62, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, in Pontiac, Michigan, surrounded by her family.

Cindi arrived tiny but mighty on November 19, 1963, in Howell, Michigan. Doctors warned her parents, James Luke and Ginger (Felch) Peckham, that she would not survive. Cindi spent the next six decades proving them wrong. She grew into a woman whose bright eyes, quick laugh, and stubborn resilience became her signature.

She grew up in Parshallville and Hartland alongside her brother, Randy, and her lifelong friend, Marshelle Beebe. After graduating from St. Mary Academy in Monroe, she built a distinguished career in the medical field. Known for her expertise in medical billing and office leadership, she served in various roles across lower Michigan before joining Blue Care Network. During her thirteen years with BCN, she worked as a Senior Auditor and Clinical Editing Analyst, earning respect for her insight and her ability to bridge perspectives between providers and insurers.

Cindi’s proudest accomplishment was raising her two children, Brynn and Caedan Walsh with their father, Matt Walsh. Being their mom was her greatest joy. She also dearly loved her bonus son, Tyler Dentry, who blessed her with her first grandchild, Lofi.

She loved music with her whole heart and never missed a chance to hear a great band live. She championed local artists and delighted in telling stories of knowing Grand Funk Railroad “way back when.” She also adored animals — every pet she adopted became family, and she believed they rescued her just as much as she rescued them.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Peckham.

Cindi is survived by her children, Brynn and Caedan Walsh, and their father, Matt Walsh; her bonus son, Tyler Dentry (Gianna Venegoni); her granddaughter, Lofi; her father, James (Orlene) Luke; her mother, Virginia “Ginger” Felch Peckham; her siblings, Randy (Jessica) Luke and Sarah (Dennis) Brake; and her step‑siblings, Jeff Sawyer and Christine Ann. She is also lovingly remembered by extended family, including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She will be remembered for her loyalty, her generosity, and her warm, unmistakable laugh.

A celebration of Cindi’s life will be held at a later date.
