Clairnell Douglas

DOUGLAS, Clairnell - Age 89, of Mt. Morris, died Sunday, December 15, 2019.  Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held.

Clairnell was born January 17, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of Louis and Verneal (Swain) Beamer.  She married Edson C. Douglas January 14, 1948 in Flint and he preceded her in death April 6, 1987.  Clairnell and her husband owned and operated many businesses in the Flint area.  She loved cooking for her family and spending time at the family summer home at Beaver Lake.

Surviving are: daughter, Carol Lyn Douglas; son, Brent Eric Douglas; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and special niece, Bonnie Kilburn.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ricky Louis and Edson Scott Douglas; sister, Bonnie Beamer Kilburn; and brother, Louis "Bud" Beamer.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
