Clara Ella Moyer

MOYER, Clara Ella - Age 93, of Flint Township, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering and dinner will be held from 3-7 PM Sunday, December 6, 2026 at the Swartz Creek V.F.W., 3131 Elms Road, Swartz Creek.

Clara was born March 6, 1933, in Saginaw, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Phillips) Trowbridge. She married Daniel Abraham Moyer April 20, 1960, and he preceded her in death May 14, 2005. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1977, coming from Flint. Clara was a life member and past president of the Swartz Creek V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #3720. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: her children, Michael Kelly of Grayling, Christine (Carl) Hesser of Clare, Deborah (Stephen) Lane of Florida, Michelle Jewell of Lapeer, and Denise Todd of Swartz Creek; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, James Howard; daughters, Danell Moyer and Teresa Moyer; brothers, Harry and Herbert Trowbridge; sister, Mary Rickard. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
