Clara Margaret SCHNEIDER

SCHNEIDER , Clara Margaret - Age 80, of Gaines, died November 5, 2013 at Caretel of Linden. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (ahsgr.org). Clara was born August 28, 1933 in Reese MI, the daughter of John and Anna (Becker) Jurk. Clara married Ralph W. Schneider on October 24, 1953. The role of wife, mother, and grandmother was most important to her. She was very proud of her German from Russia heritage. Surviving are: husband of 60 years Ralph; two daughters, Kimberly (Richard) McElyea of Ft. Collins CO, Tamera Schneider (Steve Mitchell) of Groveton TX; two grandchildren Andi Cohoon of the U.S. Army stationed in San Antonio, TX, Aaron Cohoon (Kelsey Tabor) of Nashville MI; one great-grandchild due in July.
