Clare Richey

RICHEY, Clare E. - age 71, of Burton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 12-3 PM and 5-9 PM Monday and 10 AM - 4 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Mr. Richey was born November 6, 1946 in Flint, the son of Clare E. and Esther (Altonen) Richey, Sr. He married Louise Kimball on March 9, 1993. Mr. Richey retired from General Motors in 1996 after 32 years of service. He loved working on cars, having coffee with friends and animals. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by: wife, Louise Richey; six children, Shane Richey, Spencer Richey, Andrea (Matt) Rendon, Shannon (Ed) Klenow, Brianna Richey, and Triston Richey; three step-children, Michael (Toni) Rhodes, Tamara (Venny) Mejia, and Angie Fulkerson and her fiancé, Bob; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen (Terry) Shook, Roberta Rose, Cathy (Paul) Sharp; and beloved dog, Buttons.
