Clarence Combs

COMBS, Clarence "Dutch" Alton - age 93, Tequesta, FL, went to be with our Father January 8, 2023, with his family around him. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48451 with Pastor Michael Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. A visitation will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Mike Rowe Works Foundation (www.mikeroweworks.org). There will also be a memorial service held in Florida in February. Clarence was born June 21, 1929, in Novi, MI. He spent most of his life in the Fenton/Morrice area before retiring to Florida later in his retirement. Clarence retired from Grand Blanc Metal Center in 1993 after 40 years of service to GM. Surviving are wife, Freda; two children, Barry (Misty) Combs and Connie Abbott; two stepdaughters, Rebecca (Donald) Wolfe and Cynthia (Michael) Rowsey; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ilene (Harold) Dode; Carolyn (John) Boren; brother, Reynold "Butch" Combs.
