CURNS, Clariesse Marie- Age 68 , of Houghton Lake Heights, Michigan, died Monday, October 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Dwight Rottier officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clio. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Clariesse was born in Clio, Michigan, the daughter of the late Gerald E. and Ardis M. (Hoff) Quintel. She married Gerald Curns on July 26, 2003 in Gladwin, Michigan. Clariesse enjoyed rummage sales, antiquing, playing scrabble, canoeing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: husband, Gerald of Houghton Lake Heights; sons, Brian (Brenda) White of Montrose, MI, Jeremy (Charlotte) Curns of West Branch, MI; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Ann, Rhonda, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Evonne; brothers, Claude, Bill, Mark, Gary; many nieces and nephews.
