KECK, Cleo - Age 83, of Linden, died Monday, September 21, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, September 24, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. (The service will be live streamed and may be viewed by visiting his obituary page www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to The Padre Pio Foundation of America, 463 Main St, Cromwell, CT 06416. Cleo was born December 25, 1936 in Gaines, the son of Cleo and Alice May (Franklin) Keck. He was a 1955 graduate of Gaines High School. He married Margaret A. Murphy October 18, 1955 in Flint. He had resided in the Linden area most of his life. Cleo retired from GM Proving Grounds in Milford in the Truck and Bus division after 40 years of service. He was a member St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Fenton Knights of Columbus Council #7418. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family. Surviving are: his wife of 64 years, Margaret; children, Debra Laier of Linden, Joseph (Treena) Keck of Fenton, Matthew (Jill) Keck of Fife Lake, and Patrick (Melissa) Keck of Milan; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Leo (Sandy) Keck of Midland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Christopher and Douglas Keck; and brothers, Roy, John, and Delbert Keck. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
