SPOONER, Cleveland Vern- Age 68, of Flint., died October 28, 2013. Arrangements Provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Cleveland was born March 4, 1945 in Port Huron, Michigan, the son of the late James E. and Ruthann (Chapman) Spooner . He married Carol Parmenter in Owosso Michigan on January 9, 1971. Mr. Spooner retired from Corsair Engineering with 25 years of service. He loved hunting and spending time outdoors. Surviving are: wife, Carol of Flint; children, James A. Spooner, Michael J. Spooner, Steven V. Spooner, Stacey A. Spooner, Larry J. Spooner all of Flint; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother in law Clarence and Nina Parmenter and infant daughter Christina Mae Spooner in 1978.
