Clifford G. 'Jerry' Thomas

THOMAS, Clifford G. Jerry  Age 50, of Burton, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, June 13, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM Wednesday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Jerry Thomas Memorial Fund. Jerry was born November 6, 1952 in Flint, the son of Benjamin and June (Haskell) Thomas. He had resided in Flint his entire life. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a former member of Davison Full Gospel Church and Faith Fellowship. Jerry was a mechanic his entire life. He owned and operated Jerrys Quality Auto and had a passion for motorcycles, restoring cars and anything mechanical. Surviving are: four children, Heidi, Sara and Caleb, all at home in Burton, Clifford Paul of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany; father, Benjamin Clifford; 10 brothers and sisters, Sheryl Conklin, John (Polly) Thomas, Susan (Gary) Pruitt, Debbie (Jim) Zackery, James Thomas and fiancâ?se, Deborah Bush, Patrick (Sue) Thomas, Kelly Thomas, Thomas Thomas, Vincent (Dawn) Thomas, David Thomas; many nieces and nephews. Jerry will be missed by his close friends and neighbors, Doug and Cathy Duehring and all the guys at the coffee shop.
