DUNLAP, Clyde Anthony - Age 70, of Linden, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. A service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, May 5, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live stream of the service will be available on Clyde's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Wendell Wood officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 2-8 PM. A service of sharing will be held at the funeral home 7 PM Thursday. Contributions may be made to the KV Knights Hockey Team.
Clyde was born July 4, 1952 in Olympia, WA, the son of Clyde Franklin and Blanche (Cukrzynski) Dunlap. He was a 1970 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and he received a Associates Degree in Data Processing from Mott Community College. He married Julie Terry January 6, 1996 in Fenton. Clyde had resided in Linden for the past 49 years, coming from Swartz Creek. He retired in 2014 from GISD (Westwood Heights Schools) after 28 years as a Technical Support Specialist. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a former member of Barring Cross Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports.
Surviving are: his wife, Julie; children, Becky (Scott) Elliott of Davison, Tony (Kevin Parkinson) Dunlap of Swartz Creek and Gregory Ewing of Linden; grandchildren, Kevin, Michael and Kyle Parkinson; sister, Diane (Rick) Tyler of Davison; brother, Alan (Denise) Dunlap of Phoenix, AZ; special niece and nephew, Olivia Terry and William Terry; many other nieces and nephews; and a group of boys from the Kensington Valley Knights Hockey Team.
