Clyde Smith

SMITH, Clyde Sylvanus- Age 52, of Flint, died January 21, 2017. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday January 25, at St. Mary Queen of Angels, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Ryan White Foundation, 311 Court St., Flint. Clyde was born November 18, 1964 in Kalkaska, the son of Clyde and Mary Ann (Kosa) Culver. He was a 1982 graduate of Kalkaska High School. Clyde was a community activist having worked as a liaison with local community service organizations. He enjoyed listening to books on tape. Clyde loved music, singing, and bass violin. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Smith; Robert B. Stevens; brother, David J. Smith (Maggie Garcia); niece, Gabriella; nephew, James; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
