Constance Marie Cooper

Constance Marie Cooper, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, Sept 19th at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor. She was 78 Years old.

Born April 20, 1948, in Flint, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Edna Marie (Krawaic) LaBrecque. Constance was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She loved and was very talented at crafting. Most of all she was a proud and devoted Grandmother, her grandchildren meant everything to her.

Constance is survive by her two daughters; Brecque Forgie (Brian) and Carrene Cooper; two brothers Gary LaBrecque (Carol) and Lanny LaBrecque; six grandchildren: Ashlie Turner (Andrew), Jazzman Parks (Robert), Haley Gordy (Jake), Karrisa Cooper (fiancé Matt), Austin Forgie and Sydnie Cooper; five great grandchildren: Hunter Gordy, Zander Gordy, Ava Furister, Allyana Turner and Alaya Turner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Cooper; brother Ronald LaBrecque and her stepdaughter Renee Cooper.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 1, 2026, at 11:00am at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6273 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 3:00-8:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel.

In memory of Constance memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
