PANOS, Constantine John "Dennis" - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, MI, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1811 Seymour Ave., Flint. Fr. Phil Schmitter celebrant. Burial immediately following in St. Robert Catholic Cemetery, Flushing. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint Tuesday from 1-8 PM and at church Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Powers Catholic High School or Christ the King Catholic Church . Dennis was born August 10, 1938 in Dearborn, MI the son of John and Clara (Bonkowski) Panos. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 2004 from the State of Michigan as an Auditor. On June 29, 2005, he married RuthAnn Ovadek. Dennis was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, was an avid reader, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Tigers fan. He also enjoyed bowling, shopping, but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving are: wife, RuthAnn; 5 children, Steve Ovadek of Davison, Matt and wife Denise Ovadek of Davison, Maryann and husband Ed Corcoran of Grand Blanc, Michael and wife Kristen Ovadek of Davison, and Katy and husband Jason Beers of Davison; 9 grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Scott, Jordan, Michael, Taylor, Parker, Natalie, Brennan, Kendall, and Jason; great granddaughter, Lorelai.
