Cornelius Leonard Iii

LEONARD , Cornelius "Bill" Williams III - Age 84, of Fenton, died Saturday, October 4, 2014. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 9, 2014 at St. Jude Episcopal Church, 106 E. Elizabeth St., Fenton with Rev. Josh Hoover officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army. Mr. Leonard was born May 30, 1930 in Lake Orion, the son of Cornelius Jr. and Cecile (Hathaway) Leonard. He married Elizabeth Western on May 27, 1950 in Royal Oak. He was a teacher at Rochester and Akron Community Schools, retiring in 1985. Bill enjoyed photography, woodworking and reading. He loved to travel and boat. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. Bill is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; children, Cornelius IV (Barbara) Leonard of Fenton, James (Tanya) Leonard of Missouri, Robert (Madelyn) Leonard of Leonard, Dianne (Bill) Douglas of Caseville, Bruce (Cynthia) Leonard of Ohio, Lois Leonard of New Hudson; seven grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
