Cynthia Lee Barron

BARRON, Cynthia Lee (Gearhart) "Cindy" - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026 peacefully in her home with her loving husband by her side, surrounded by their family. Now in eternal rest with Jesus.

Cindy was born December 27, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Max Adrian and Christine E. "Ella" (Teeple) Gearhart. She was a 1959 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Doyle Winston Barron November 7, 1959 in Flint. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1972 coming from Flint. Cindy was a member of Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene.

She was the matriarch of our family, who always put her family first and was a wonderful homemaker. Cindy taught many skills to her family throughout the years that they use on a daily basis. Her love and devotion was outstanding in every aspect of life, which will leave a lasting impact for all which will last a lifetime.

Daily, Cindy enjoyed identifying and looking for birds with her husband. In her younger years, she and her husband traveled the world together. And, in later years spent their time up north with family. She had her moments where if you did something she didn’t like she would really let you know but very seldom lost her temper but when she did, get out of her way.

Surviving are: her husband of 66 years, Doyle; children, Shelly (Mark) Garland of Flushing, Everett Barron of Gaines, and Sherry (Joseph) Lange of Gaines; grandchildren, Kelly Coan of Flint, Cassie (Kyle) Morgan of Roscommon, Amber (George) Tracy of Roscommon, Blake Garland of Flushing, Skye (Jestin) McWilliams of Swartz Creek, Emily (Chase) Saunders of Chesaning, and Nolan Lange of Gaines; great grandchildren, Zavier, Emerson, Sawyer, River, Willow, Winston, William, and Owen; brother-in-law, Michael (Tammy) Barron of Flushing; niece, Michelle Vachon of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Christie Barron; sister, Shirley Hickey; and brother, James Gearhart. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
