Daisy Romano

ROMANO, Daisy T. - age 94, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Friday, February 15 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be 2 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Daisy was born June 20, 1924 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of John and Mary (Tiano) Folio. She married Johnie Romano on March 1, 1943 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2001. Daisy worked as a bartender for many years. She played many instruments and had played the drums in a band. Surviving are: her daughter, Diana Metras of Linden; grandchildren, David Metras, Heather (Metras) Spohn and husband Jeremy, Paul Burnette and wife Mamie, great-grandchildren, Jacob Metras, Makenna Spohn, Vella Gillespie, Matt Radar, Brian Radar; and granddaughter-in-law, Irene Burnette. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Paula Burnette; grandson, John Burnette; 2 sons-in-law, Tim Burnette and Elmer Metras; and several siblings.
