Dale T. Krebsbach

KREBSBACH, Dale T. - Age 79, of Swartz Creek, went home to the Lord Thursday, September 18, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2003 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Friends may visit with the family at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday where a Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Krebsbach was born March 2, 1924 in Litchfield, MN, the son of Chris and Caroline (Bachel) Krebsbach. He had resided in the Flint area most of his life. Mr. Krebsbach was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He retired from GM Buick in 1986 with 45 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, member of the DAV, Eagles, Moose, and Flint Lawn Bowling Club. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Deborah Fritche of North Fort Myers, FL, Sue Ann Gear of Swartz Creek; 3 sons, Fred of Murfreesboro, TN, Christ of Murfreesboro, TN, Edward of Swartz Creek; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Elmer and wife Althea of Flint, and Glenn of Flint; 2 sisters, Leone Hodges of Flint, Jean Lekutis of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews; dearest friend, Helen Broom of Swartz Creek. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Cyril, Earl and Vern; sister, Elaine; former wife, Rita Ann. Dad, you were a great father. While you were strict and demanding, you were also just and loving. Dad, you'll always be remembered in our thoughts and prayers, but most of all our hearts of hearts.
