Dale Douglas WARDEN

WARDEN, Dale Douglas - Age 65, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, November 14, 2013. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Fr. Dan Kogut celebrant. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of mass at the church. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home 7:00 PM Tuesday. Mr. Warden was born February 20, 1948 in Durand, the son of Marshall and Dorothy (Smith) Warden. He was a 1966 Fenton High School graduate. On May 29, 1970 he married Theresa Marie McAlinden at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Dale worked for the U.S. Navy, retiring after 21 years of service in 1986. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Mr. Warden is survived by his wife, Theresa; three children, Denise Warden of Flint, Steve Warden of Burton, Marie and husband John Fejedelem of Rochester, MN.; three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Madison and Samantha; two grandsons, Jason and Brenden; sister, Rose Cornell of Howell; several nieces and nephews.
