Dale A. Weidenhammer Sr.

WEIDENHAMMER, Dale Alwin, Sr. - Age 86, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023.  Per Dale's request cremation has taken place and no service will be held.  Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice House of Shiawassee County, 2006 Copas Road, Owosso, MI 48867.  

Dale was born February 16, 1937 in Flint, the son of Herman and Ona (Morse) Weidenhammer.  He was a graduate of Davison High School.  He married Sharron Dianne Southall February 14, 1998 in Las Vegas, NV.  Dale had resided in Burton most of his life.  He retired from the Genesee County Road Commission after 33 years of service.  He was a former member of the Burton Eagles Aeries #3814.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting, antique cars and taking rides in the country.  

Surviving are: his wife, Sharron; children, Cynthia (Joseph) Carpenter of Grand Blanc and Dale A. Weidenhammer, Jr. of Kalkaska; step-sons, Frank Gray of Texas, Joseph (Kerry) Gray of Washington DC and Scott Gray of Flint; grandchildren, Joshua Weidenhammer (Heidi Smith) of Flint, Krista (Michael) Reed of Phoenix, AZ and Ali and Rachel Weidenhammer both of West Virginia; great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Bradyn and Jayce; brother, Marshall Weidenhammer of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
