Dana L. DEWITT

DEWITT, Dana, age 47, of Flint, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Crestmont Health Care, Fenton. Funeral services will be 1:30PM Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor John White officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery . Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8PM at the funeral home. Dana was born January 16, 1965 in Flint the daughter of Ronald and LaDonna (Stokes) DeWitt. She was a graduate of Western Michigan University and was employed by VIP as an work activities counselor. In her free time she enjoyed being outdoors, especially in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and along the Lake Michigan Shoreline. Dana also restored old cars like her 1983 Black Ford Step-Side Truck and she had a great time at Back to the Bricks. She loved antiques and flower gardening, caring tenderly for her annuals and perennials. Dana had a Siberian Husky, Brande who meant the world to her. Surviving are her parents, Ron and LaDonna DeWitt; sister, Keri Foster and husband, Graeme of Swartz Creek; brother, David DeWitt and wife, Michelle of Flint; nieces and nephews, Macy, Alex and Nathan DeWitt.
