Daniel John Asmondy

Asmondy, Daniel John  - Age 88, of  Flint, died April 21, 2024 peacefully at home, surrounded by his friends. No services will be held. Interment later at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions, in memory of Daniel, to PBS Television Station. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Daniel  was born May 20, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of John Asmondy and Irma Marie (Kovach) Asmondy. Daniel served in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime Flint resident. He retired from General Motors. He was an amazing painter. He loved to travel especially to Spain. He loved his flower gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tom Asmondy; and sister Elizabeth Mosa. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
