Daniel Elasivich

ELASIVICH, Daniel Joseph - Age 62, of Linden, died Sunday, March 20, 2016. Graveside services will be held 1:00PM Friday, March 25 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly. There will be a light luncheon to follow at Camp Copneconic 10407 North Fenton Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Diabetes Association, or American Heart Association. Daniel was born December 24, 1953 in Flint, the son of Michael and Anna (Oginsky) Elasivich. He was 1972 graduate of Flushing High School. Daniel was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Marie Bacon February 14, 1986 in Flint. Daniel worked for Carlton Stationary of Flint. He loved Nascar and tinkering with engines. Surviving are: his beloved wife, Marie; 4 children, Daniel A. Elasivich of St. Johns, Windy Spooner of Florida, Carl (Dawn) Litten of Linden, and Mindy (Dustin) Irk of Linden; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; 3 brothers, Timothy (Andrea) Elasivich of Swartz Creek, Mark (Lori) Elasivich of Flushing, and Matthew (Lisa) Elasivich of Flushing; sister, Christina Elasivich of Flint; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Anna Elasivich; brothers, Michael and David Elasivich; and grandson Travis Elasivich.
