Dan was born on March 5, 1956, in Owosso, Michigan to Duane and Mary Lee Casemore. He graduated in 1974 from Durand High School and immediately after he joined the United States Marines Corp and proudly served his country 1974-1979. He worked as a skilled carpenter for over 30 years, retiring from E & L Construction Group in 2019 as a supervisor.

Dan was a Baptist who tried his very best to follow Christ. After believing and being Saved he was baptized at Lake Rd Baptist Church in Clio. He enjoyed scripture from the King James Bible and believed that being Saved was the one and only true way to enter Heaven. Dan's greatest prayer was that his family would also follow Christ and spend Eternity in Heaven together.

Dan was an outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also known for feeding the many wildlife critters and birds on his property. Dan had many friends who are farmers and he gladly offered to help as a hand on the farm. Dan's shell was a little ruff, but he had a tender heart and generous soul. Family was everything to him and the pride and joy of his life were his three boys.

Dan is survived by his three boys, Dan Jr. (Shannon) Casemore, Aaron (Lisa Matznick) Casemore and Joel (Kim) Casemore; the mother of his children, Jackie Casemore; his mom, Mary Lee Casemore; fourteen grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, Cody, Tyler, David, Aubree, Joseph, Owen, Austin, Emma, Kenji, Cole, Cruz, and Abigail; his siblings, Cindy  Haynes, David (Sandy) Casemore, Peggy Sue Casemore, Teresa (Rod) Henery and Don (Lorretta) Casemore. Dan is further survived by many other dear family members and friends too numerous to list.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Duane Casemore, grandparents, George & Blanche Casemore; brother, Vern; Aunt Laura and his best friend, Ron Matznick.
