WOOD, Darlene Florence -- Age 73 of Swartz Creek, died April 29, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Friday, and Saturday 11 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Hospice. Darlene was born August 17, 1940 in Flint the daughter of Paul E. and Geraldine E. (Stocking) Gilbank. She married Robert Wood on December 31, 1960 in Flint. She loved sewing, gardening, animals and was a 4H leader. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Surviving are: husband, Robert; daughter, Brenda (Paul) Arbuckle, Becky (Joe) Honeck; grandson, Robert Arbuckle; future grandson, Baby Honeck; mother, Geraldine; brothers, Robert Gilbank, Daniel ( Jeanne) Gilbank; sisters , Colleen Landris, Debra (Dale) Bullen; Many nieces and nephews.
