Darrell Bryce Jackson

JACKSON, Darrell Bryce - age 67, of Flint, died Thursday August 12, 2010 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Chaplain Dwight Murphy Officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM both Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Old News Boys. Darrell was born March 12, 1943 in Flint, the son of the late James Mack and Mildred Avis (Trotter) Jackson. Mr. Jackson served his country in the Army Reserves, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved to tinker on anything that needed to be fixed. Darrell retired from G.M. Buick division with 42 years of service. He married Nancy Lee (Jones) Jackson on July 17, 1965 in Flint, she preceded him in death in 2007. Surviving are daughter, Cynthia (Richard) Mullen of TN; granddaughters, Rachel, Laryn, Chelsea Mullen and great-grandson Bryce Manuel Espinosa; sisters-in-law, Patricia Jackson, Judy (Herb) Barton and Diane Storer; aunt, Aileen Trotter; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
