Darrell Kaufeld

KAUFELD, Darrell Carl--- age 87 of Clio, died Wednesday December 28, 2016. Funeral Service will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial to follow at Great Lake's National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 2-8 PM on Monday January 2 and 10AM -12:30 PM Tuesday January 3 at the Funeral Home. Darrell was born January 28, 1929 in Bridgeport, the son of Carl and Agnes (Bierschbach) Kaufeld. He married Nancy Ijames in Flint on December 6, 1952. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Darrell was a truck driver for Reliable Linen Co. of Saginaw. He was a member of the Mt. Morris F.O.E. Darrell enjoyed water sking, yardwork, crossword puzzles, playing cards, snowmobiling, motorcycles, and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy; sons, Dennis Kaufeld and Paul (Connie Toppi) Kaufeld; grandchildren, Shannon, Anthony, Farah, David Jr., Sarah, and Kaiya; five great grandchildren; brother, Bill (Ruth) Bierschbach.
