HAUGLIE, Darwin L., age 81, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Memorial visitation will be 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Thursday and 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. Friday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Darwin was born June 4, 1929 in Flint the son of the late Sidney and Myrtle (Scriber) Hauglie. He married Gloria Jean Wright on March 3, 1951 in Flint. Darwin was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a past leader for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and loved the outdoors. Darwin loved to work and enjoyed life. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Gloria; 3 children, Roger Hauglie (Sheila) of Kalamazoo, Anne McKown (Doug) of Flint, Eric Hauglie of Flint; granddaughter, Jennifer.
