Darwin Duane Williams

WILLIAMS, Darwin Duane - Age 90, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026. Cremation has taken place and private services will be held. Darwin was born January 2, 1936 in Flint. He attended Flint Central High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Judith Lee Hollinger May 9, 1985 in Mt. Morris. Darwin had resided in the Swartz Creek and Durand area for the past 20 years. He retired January 2001 from Whaley Children's Center as the Facilities Manager. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, building things, he loved spending time with family and friends at Wildwood and most of all being the best "Gampy" ever.

Surviving are: his daughters, Louann Hinton and Lynette (Mark) Whitten; son, Paul Williams; grandchildren, Anthony (Nga), Daniel (Britny), Parker (Olivia), Jillian, Dalton (Savanna), Jolee (Stephen), Gary (Kara), Sydney and Cameron (Ryan) and honorary grandchildren, Jordan and Amanda; great grandchildren, Taryn, Cade, Hadlee, Layla, Olivia, Jonah, Carter, Mason, Lyla, Summer and Maizey.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Daniel Williams; and parents, Herbert and Loretta Schaedig. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
