BARNETT, David Keith- Age 54 , of Burton, died Tuesday September 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held 12:00PM Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Kirk Bodem officiating. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday and again a 10AM until time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Mr. Barnett was born January 24, 1960 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Arthur and Kathryn (McGee) McDougall. David enjoyed, fishing, hunting golfing, Nascar, baseball, football, swimming and especially enjoyed back yard barbeques and entertaining his family, friends and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He worked for TTX Railroad for 9 years and worked in asphalt and seal coating most of his life. Surviving are daughters; Jammie (Larry) Brown of New Lothrop, Michigan, Candy Holt (James) of Burton; grandchildren, Bryce, Amya, Maximus, Liam; sister, Linda (Mike) Dunavan of IL, brother's, Gary Barnett of IL, Bruce (Laurie) Barnett of Flint, Larry Barnett of Burton, James McDougall of Burton; nephews, Joseph Barnett of Swartz Creek, Jason, niece Jessica and many other special nieces, nephews, family and friends and Special friends Sharon Holt, Sylvia West and K-9 companion Diamond.
