David Michael Baumer

David Michael Baumer - Age 67, of Linden, passed away on June 3, 2026.

A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held from 4:00–8:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street, Linden. Those wishing to honor David's memory may make a contribution to Eyes Open International .

David was born on November 12, 1958, in Eaton Rapids, the son of the late Ralph and Neva (Harris) Baumer. He retired from General Motors after a long and dedicated career. A lifelong car enthusiast, David found great joy in automobiles and could often be found sharing stories, knowledge, and appreciation for them with others.

More than anything, David cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather who adored spending time with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen; his daughters, Kimberly and Julia; his treasured grandchildren, Bryan and Willow Mae; and his sisters, Sharon and Beverly.
