David Bowren

BOWREN, David Joseph - Age 68, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, July 18, 2021.  Per David's request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

David was born June 27, 1953 in Pontiac, the son of Clarence and Geneva (Westover) Bowren.  He was a 1971 graduate of Mott High School in Waterford.  He served Atlas Copco for over 48 years starting out as a sweeper and advancing to Safety, Health, and Environmental Quality Supervisor.  He married Georgia Watts August 10, 1973 in Sylvan Lake.  David was a member of the Waterford Firefighters Association for 20 years.  He enjoyed boating, fishing, riding his Razor at Camp David in West Branch.

Surviving are: his wife of 47 years, Georgia; 3 children, Joshua (Jennifer) Bowren of Holly, Tina DeJarlais of Cheboygan, and Jason (Julie) Bowren of Brighton; 12 grandchildren; sister, Diane Bowren of Waterford; and brother, Eric Bowren of Waterford.
