Dr. David Lee Brower, DDS of Grand Blanc, passed away February 29, 2024 at the age of 74. Born March 5, 1949 to Stanley and Veronica (Holczman) Brower in Holly, MI. He attended St. John School in Fenton and Holy Redeemer High School before he transferred to Hartland High School, graduating as the Class of 1967 Salutatorian. Furthering his education, he received a Bachelors of Science from University of Detroit in 1971, then graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1975. 

He started his career as an associate with Dr. Fox in Holly before opening his own practice, Creative Smiles Dental Group. After selling his practice, he continued to work part time with Dr. Heuerman at Lapeer City Dental. He was a member of the American Dental Association and mentored many young dentists and young men during his career. 

He enjoyed running The Crim Festival of Races, 10 miler every August. He golfed every chance he could. He was a member of Warwick Hills Golf and County Club and Monarch Country Club in Palm City, FL. He loved attending his beloved, University of Michigan football games at the Big House, GO BLUE!

He leaves behind the love of his life, for 38 wonderful years, Laraine (Crake) Brower; brother, Rick (Debbie) Brower; sister-in-law, Carol Crake; many cherished nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Jim "JR" Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Veronica Brower; sister, Diana (Gary) Bailey; niece, Deborah Bailey; brother-in-law, Jerry Crake; lifelong friend, Tom "T Mac" McNamara. 

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations go to The Warwick Caddie Scholarship (Evans Scholar Foundation).
