David J. Fournier

David J. Fournier, age 54, of Burton, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Please continue to keep David's family in your thoughts and prayers.

David was born on February 16, 1971, in Flint, Michigan, to the late David and Carolyn (Sullivan) Fournier. He attended Swartz Creek High School, graduating with the class of 1989. He furthered his education at Mott Community College. David was employed with Huntington Bank in the customer service department. For many years, David served as an umpire for youth baseball games throughout the local school districts. Above all, David enjoyed the comforts of home and was a simple man with a good sense of humor.

He is survived by his sisters, Pamela (Bill) Gearhart, Sheri (Bill) Roberts, Carolyn (David) King, and Chevelle (Matt) Kateman, and his aunts, Shirley Major and Lois Wilson. David is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other dear family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene (Stella) Fournier and Mildred Sullivan.
