David Gerald Lerche

LERCHE, David Gerald - age 58, of Eastpointe, died September 12, 2025. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Faith Missionary Church, 1327 Elms Rd., Flint with Pastor Brent Kriesch officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial of his cremated remains will follow the service at Thetford Township Cemetery. David was born on December 17, 1966, in Macomb, Michigan. He worked as a Senior Construction Inspector with the City of Detroit, where he was respected for his dedication and hard work. Outside of his career, David enjoyed playing softball and darts, and he was an active and proud member of the Sons of Redemption Motorcycle Club.. Surviving are: three children, Andrew Simpson (Ashleigh Wilson); Joshua Lerche, and Kristen Lerche; two grandchildren, Jaxton and Landyn Simpson; sister, Rebecca (Gregory) DeLaere; and aunt, Martha Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Gerald G. Lerche on May 1, 2016 and Marilyn Elizabeth (Wells) Lerche on June 18, 2023.
