David Allan McGregor

McGREGOR, David Allan - Age 63, of Chesterfield Township, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026. A service will be held 12PM Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene, 7154 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek. Rev. Joshua McLaren officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 11AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Leukemia Research Foundation or Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene.

David was born December 9, 1962 in Flint, the son of Dr. Allan Russell and Marilyn Marie (Williams) McGregor. He was a 1981 graduate of Clio High School; and he received his Associates in Applied Science Electronic Technology at Mott Community College, University of Michigan. He had resided in Chesterfield Township for the past 20 years. He was employed as a Pipefitter at Dominion Technologies Group in Roseville. David was a Ham Operator (call sign K8DAM) and was a member of the ARRL (American Radio Relay League). He enjoyed fishing, Scuba diving and Astronomy.

Surviving are: his sisters, Lynn (Terry) Spencer of Gaines and Karen McGregor of Grand Blanc; nieces and nephews, Michelle Anderson of Grayling, Michael Anderson of Grayling, Joshua Anderson of Grand Blanc, Ryan Spencer of Flushing, and Lesa Spencer of Lansing; grand nieces and nephews, Riley, Carter, Allyson, Cameron, Caydon, Pamela, and A'mya; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
