David Robert Olson

OLSON, David Robert - Age 76, passed away July 21, 2024. David was born July 9, 1948 in Flint, the son of Jay A. and Betty Jane (Marshall) Olson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. David earned a Masters Degree in Accounting from University of Michigan. He retired from General Motors after many years of service. Following retirement he enjoyed volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, traveling, golfing and most importantly, being a devoted grandfather. David also served for many years on the board of PFCU. He is survived by his daughters, Lisette (Bruce) Foster and Elisa Thomas; grandchildren, Stevie Petrosky, Cameron Petrosky and Allie Thomas; sister, Bethany (Michael) Riopelle; niece, Jennifer Ortyl; nephew, Jeff Riopelle.
