David Glenn RIGGS

RIGGS, David Glenn - age 72, of Fenton, died Thursday, April 26, 2012. Services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hartland United Methodist Church, 10300 Maple Road, Hartland. Those desiring may make contributions to the Hartland Senior Center. Mr. Riggs was born November 27, 1939 in Detroit, the son of Wayne and Nina (Chamberlain) Rigg. He married Louis Goldbach on July 12, 1986 in Fenton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was active in the Livingston Gem and Mineral Society. David was a member of the American Legion, Hartland City Council, Hartland Historical Society and the World Chamberlain Genealogical Society. He is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters, Patricia L. Seidl and Jacqueline Riggs; grandchildren, Jessica Veld, Myrna Riggs, Anthony Parsons, Lauren, Daniel, Matthew and Kayla Parsons; step-son, John Parsons; step-daughter, Belinda Parsons; sister, Arlene Tilton; brothers, Joe and Bill Riggs; step-brother, Ben Dunlap.
