David Russell Robinson

Robinson, David Russell - Age 79, of Linden, passed away October 15, 2026.

Services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 23, 2026 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Michigan 48430, Pastor Wes Morris officiating. The service may be viewed by livestream from a link at Mr. Robinson's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, October 22, and 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM on Friday, October 23.

Committal service will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, October 27 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442.

David was born January 16, 1947 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Thomas Robinson and Doris (Morey) Robinson. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Joyce Fox on June 6, 1970. He retired from Michigan Bell (AT&T) with many years of service. He was a woodworker. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He loved his grandsons, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are wife of 56 years, Joyce; two daughters, Rebecca (Sean) O'Keefe, Deanna (Jason); three grandsons, Finn, Kellan and Colten; three siblings, Maryetta (Janet), Linda ( Barry), Lauren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Doris; and brothers, Wayne, Max and Tom.
