David Gilbert Sanford

Sanford, David Gilbert - Age 72, of  Burton, died September 8, 2023. Services will be held 3 PM Monday September 18, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1 PM until the time of the services at 3 PM on Monday September 18. 

David  was born October 19, 1950 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Raymond Sanford and Beverly (Richards) Sanford. He was a graduate of Bentley High School. David married Cody Pray on July 14, 1979. He owned and operated Dave's Shoe Repair. He was a volunteer firefighter for the City of Burton Station # 2. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved his family and their family time spent on Drummond Island. 

Surviving are: wife Cody; two children, Tracy Sanford Kaye (Patrick Kaye), Ryan Sanford; two granddaughters Ashley Kaye and Addyson Kaye; siblings, Gary (Elaine) Sanford, Christine Sanford, Pamela (James) Toler, Gordon Sanford (Mark McNally); nephews and niece, Albert, Chad, and Beverly.
