Stewart, David Lee - Age 85, of Grand Blanc, passed away March 17, 2024 after a courageous battle with several health complications. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest, with honors, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dave to the American Legion (www.legion.org)

David was born October 23, 1938 in Flint, the son of the late Jackson Lee and Mary (Hodges) Stewart. He married Bonnie Lee Hurlburt on April 9, 1977 in Flint. David proudly served his country in The United States Army. He loved fishing, hunting and hanging out with the guys "shootin the breeze". David also enjoyed working on classic cars and playing cards. He worked for General Motors for 30 years and also 10 years in railroad transportation.

David is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bonnie; children, David (Kathy) Lee Stewart Jr., Rebecca Corwin, Angela Snider, April (Raleigh) Beringer and Eric (Yun) Hunt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Blass) Dejooiner; several nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, William ("BJ") Hunt; and several friends.
