David Wayne WATTS

Watts, David "Davey" Wayne - Age 57 , of Mt. Morris , died Friday May 17, 2013 at his residence. A remembrance service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will begin at 10AM until the service at 1PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Davey Watts to AIR, c/o Nicalee Sowders, 6613 NW 30th St., Bethany, OK 73008. Davey was born in Cullman, Alabama the son of Billie J. and Beatrice (Taylor) Watts. Davey enjoyed bow and rifle hunting. His passion was Harley Davidson motorcycles and motor cycle racing. He was a well known mechanic on the Grand National Flat Track circuit. Davey was a tuned for the racers of Tom Cummings Racing and worked for Cummings Harley-Davidson. He mentored and helped Nicky Cummings at the start of his career in racing. In his travels Davey was known to all as a friendly and helpful guy. Surviving are: mother, Beatrice Taylor of TX; brothers, Dale Watts of FL, Darrel (Donna) Watts of MD, Jack (Linda) Watts of TX; sister, Jill(Gregg) Prestridge of TX; niece, Devon Prestridge of TX and nephew, Christopher Watts of FL.
