Dawn Marie Anderson -- Age 63, of Burton, born on August 3 1962, passed away on February 23, 2026 surrounded by love. She lit up our worlds and was the best mother and grandma you could ask for. Some of you may know she never wanted to suffer in her lifetime so while losing her is the one of the hardest things life has ever done to us; we are grateful she is now at peace, Heaven was ready for her, but our hearts were not.
Funeral services will be held 6 PM Tuesday March 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507. Visitation will be held 3 PM until the time of the funeral at 6 PM. (The funeral service may be viewed by livestream at her page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).
She leaves behind a wonderful husband Scott Anderson; her children, Ray Johnson, Aaron (Tabitha) Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Joyce Johnson, Jessica (Daniel) Gilbert, Jasmine (Michael) Nelson; her siblings Leslie Sanders, William (Gale) Moreau, Barbara Griffin, Kenneth Moreau, Paul (Angie) Moreau, Leah (Jeff) Bradley, a gang of nieces and nephews.
Her grandkids, Austin, Braiden, Angel, Tyler, Weston, King, Ricky, Joslynn, Alyssa, Anthony Jr. Miracle, Hayden, and Lyllian were front and center in her world. You could find them on her hip and stepping on her toes almost daily and she wanted it no other way. Loving them made her so much of who she was! We know she will watch from heaven and protect us all, keeping an extra special eye on baby Nelson when they make their arrival into the world!
She is now in heaven rejoicing with her sons Ricky and Jason Johnson. We remind ourselves of this daily.
Proverbs 31:31. “Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
In Lieu of flowers please send a plant she loved plants and having them means we keep a piece of something she loved with us all. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers as now we lay the matriarch of our family to rest.
