Benedict, Dawn Yvonne - Age 51, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Flint, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 . Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, November 4 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery . Visitation will be held 12PM - 8PM Sunday and 11AM until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Dawn was born September 25, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Leo J. and Raeola Y. (Holland) Montgomery. She married John Benedict on January 24, 1998 in Las Vegas, NV. Dawn enjoyed listening to music and was a animal lover. Surviving are: husband, John of AZ; daughters, Misty Ricketts (Gerald Lincoln) of Mt. Morris, Victoria Benedict of Utah, Sarah Benedict of TX, grandchildren, Kailyn, Logan, Avery, Alana; brothers Dean (Wendy) Montgomery of Flushing, Dennis Montgomery of AZ and Ben (Heather) Thomas of Burton; many nieces and nephews.
