Dean Cole

COLE, Dean Allen -- Age 54, of Flint, died November 29, 2014 after a lengthy illness. No services will be held for the public. Funeral arrangements were handled by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to the Dean Cole Memorial Fund c/o the family. Dean was born October 12, 1960 in Owosso. He was a machine operator at Grand Blanc Cement for 18 years. He loved to hunt, fish and play his guitar. Dean was a member of 12 step recovery with 26 years clean. He was a good man, wonderful father, son and brother. Surviving are: son, Dustin A. Cole of Flint; mother, Wannetta (Duane) Plonta of Gagetown; brother, David (Janice) Cole of Gagetown; former wife, Wanda Cole of Flint; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael R. Cole on November 24, 2014; and his father, Ray C. Cole.
