Deborah Miller

MILLER, Deborah Anne - age 69 of Swartz Creek, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2023, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 28, 2023, at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Pastor Dan Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Holly, MI. Visitation will be held 3:30 PM - 8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 and from 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. Debbie was born January 5, 1954, in Detroit to Larry and Merine Marie Bernadette (DeLaurier) Fleury but was raised by her loving aunt and uncle Margaret and Eugene St. Onge who would become mother and father to her. Debbie was blessed to call Lyle and Linda, brother and sister for 69 years. Debbie spent a long career at Toys R Us in Novi, where she also met her husband Tim. She spent her retirement years with her husband, Tim, traveling to grandchildren's sporting events vacationing across the country. She was active in her church, enjoyed gardening, sewing, and puzzles. She is survived by her husband, Timothy Miller, who spent every day by her side at the hospital after her heart surgery as she battled complications. Debbie was a fighter and a two-time cancer survivor. Debbie lived a very active and full life. She had three sons, Eric (Laura) DeLanoy, Trevor (Kelly) DeLanoy, and Kurt (Nui) DeLanoy and was blessed by her daughters-in-law, as she never had a daughter. She is also survived by two stepsons, Joshua Miller and Jay Miller; grandchildren, Hunter, Gage and Faith DeLanoy, Samantha and Georgianna Miller, and Nola and Alek DeLanoy; siblings, Lyle (Robin) St. Onge and Linda (Ron) Palmgren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and family members in Canada, along with many life-long friends.
