METCALFE, Debra Ann - age 74 of Fenton passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton where a vigil service will be held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will also be 10 AM until the time of Mass on Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Absolute Hospice, 9463 Holly Rd, Grand Blanc 48439.
Debra was born October 11, 1951, in Flint, the daughter of Ira Harry and Joan Elizabeth (Reick) Dixon. She was a 1969 graduate of Holy Redeemer High School. Debra married Robert Clyde Metcalfe on October 17, 1969, in Flint. She worked for 33 years at VG's Food Center with various roles and built many lasting relationships. Debra and her husband Bob were involved in many church activities such as Apple Fest, youth group and fund raising at St John Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and playing Mahjong. Debra was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her family was the center of her life! She also developed a close knit group of friends within her community in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Her true happy place.
Debra is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Bob; sons, Sean (Desiree) Metcalfe and Scot ( Andrea) Metcalfe; grandchildren, Emily (Brandon), Abigail (Alante), Sam, Korena (Jake), Brie (Brock), Evie, and Davis; great grandchildren, Myles, Liberty, Mayzie, Alante Jr., and Azalea; sisters, Sharon (Pete) Perez, Susan Royce, Linda Taylor, Julie Launius, and Bonita (Don) Lynch; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Stacy Hickey; and sister, Pamela Warren.
