Debra Lynn Steffen

Debra Lynn Steffen, age 59, of Clio, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her home. In accordance with Debra's wishes cremation will take place. A celebration of life will take place at 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family, c/o Sarah Buhler.

Debra was born on July 2, 1966 in Flint the daughter of Richard and Rita (Canning) Doherty. She was passionate about her long-time career as a home health aid. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spending time outdoors fishing and camping.

She is survived by her mother, Rita Doherty; children, Kelli (Eddie) Hahn, Katy Doherty, Sarah (Josey) Buhler and Emily (Dale) Nearing; many loving grandchildren; siblings Lori Doherty and Julie (Chuck) Parsons; sister-in-law, Amy Harris; and her loving fiancé, Harold Ford.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, Richard "Dick" Doherty; brother, Mike Doherty; and grandson Avery Hahn. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her hospice nurse, Claudia for her compassion and care. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
