Deloris Hyde

HYDE, Deloris May - Age 88, of Fenton, died December 28, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Fenton First Presbyterian Church, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Robbie Carnes will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where an Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 7 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Deloris was born April 8, 1931 in Flint, the daughter of Carl and Lillian (Haas) Finger. At the age of 13, Deloris began teaching piano, which she continued throughout her life. She played in many bands in the Flint area, where she played piano, organ and accordion. A long time member of  the Order of Eastern Star, she served as the Grand Organist from 1988-1989.  Deloris was a life long member of Fenton First Presbyterian Church and was a member of Fenton Bay View Club. She owned and operated Hilltop Orchards with her husband. She loved camping and spending time with her family.  Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Royce; daughters, Deanna Hyde Haase and husband Dean, Nancy Hyde-Davis and husband Terry; grandchildren, Catharine Cypher, Harrison Cypher, Sydney Hyde and Owen Cypher; brother, Howard Finger. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Savannah Rae Hyde.
