Denise Lynn Long

Denise Lynn Long of Clio and long time resident of Grand Blanc, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc. She was 69 years old.

Born February 18, 1956 in Flint, she was the daughter of Archie and Marlene (Lorentzen) Brown. Denise was retired from General Motors where she worked for 33 years, until her retirement in 2009. The daughter of a Pepsi Truck driver, it fueled a lifelong hobby of collecting Pepsi products and memorabilia, during his time in the military her son Eric would send her Pepsi cans and bottles from all over the world in various languages. She also enjoyed collecting snow babies, and doing crossword puzzles and the word search.

Denise is survived by her son Eric Long and his sons, Corvin and Carter and Eric’s girlfriend, Ashley Kessler and her sons, Coleman and Braxton; one brother Phillip Brown and his wife Heidi; one sister Debbie Plumb and her husband Mike; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Jeff Brown and one sister Janet Brown.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 11:00-1:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, a procession will be leaving the funeral home at 1:00pm for graveside committal services at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
